A little about me,

I’m glad you’re here,

I began photography as a way to cope with a stressful career as a correctional officer, it grew into a lifelong passion. My art grew from imagination, life experience, and a hunt for curious moments. Developing black-and-white images in the darkroom is a wonder to me. I marveled in the magic of an image appearing in the tray. That early practice still shapes how I make images.

After retiring, I earned a Fine Art degree from the Academy of Art University, graduating with honors in 2020. My portfolio was shown at the university’s art show. I now mix traditional photographic methods with digital tools to create the images that I imagine.
